On November 6, 435 U.S. representatives and 33 U.S. senators are up for election. Congress has the power to help make the United States a healthier nation. As you consider your options at the polls, take this quiz to find out if your candidate is a public health champion.
Visit your candidate's website, contact them on Twitter or call their office to find out their position on these public health issues. If you can't find the answer to these questions easily, bring a printed version to a town hall, ask them over the phone, or send them to a candidate in an email.
Public health needs champions in Washington, D.C., who will support evidence-based policies.
